I'm about a month in. I've been doing what I always did when WFH'ing before: go to the pub every day at about 5pm just to be somewhere different and be around humans. Which isn't so good for my alcohol consumption, or social life in general as getting drunk late afternoon means I don't go out in the evening.
Listening to music and better coffee are definite plus points.

Current gig was originally agreed to WFH (they want me but I have no car) but a day or so on-site as they weren't convinced WFH would work.
I can't remember the last time I was on-site, I'm going ion next week but only because a company I'm interested in for my plan B happens to be in the same business park.

I only do one day per fortnight in the office (most of the team is also remote). It's gotten to the point where I get excited about going there.

And: Music
, always being around for deliveries, no additional cost for dog-walker/dog-sitter (but sharing room with farty dogs all day), preparing dinner/running errands in lunchbreak, no formal clothing (or in fact no need for any clothing).
Like most people, I'm a hell of a lot more efficient without interruptions from colleagues.

Exactly. To compensate, I only work one hour-a-day when WFH.Originally posted by doodab View PostDressing gown, youporn, crunchy nut cornflakes. Yet somehow i'll still get more done in the hour I feel (ever so slightly) guilty than I maange in a day at the office.

Did they really think open plan was a good idea?
