Bloody hell - I've just discovered that my accountant has endorsed me for Service Management!

This is getting ridiculous..

Someone whom I rented a house off in 2008 in Florida endorsed me the other day.
I didn't even know we were linked...

It's very good for looking up ex colleagues and managers when its job hunt time, I used to put a lot of effort into networking but now you don't have to bother until you need it. I'm sure it must have lead to more people getting work directly even with the mass infiltration of agents buzzing around.Originally posted by norrahe View PostI still find Linkedin useful though.

I just got endorsed again. The mail message says "for new skills and expertise", but I haven't a clue which ones are being referred to.Originally posted by stek View PostSame bloke who I last saw in 2009, endorsing me for skills I never knew I had now!
I think I would have heard of this 'Windows XP' I'm supposed to be good at..

I ditched LinkedIn a long time ago but recently created another account and so far have zero connections (ignored pimp requests of course which started within minutes of the account being created).
I must admit though that I'm getting a lot more email from agents.

I got endorsed for one skill last week but it's 3 or 4 years since I did it in any depth.
Though I got lucky. It came from someone who is well respected in their field.
