Quiet. Spent a large part of it doing a Pancake Day style attempt to eat our way through all the nice/junk food bought for the holidays... smoked salmon, pate, a ham roast, etc.
Sadly there is still some left to get rid of.

I have some stuffed animals left over from my old mans estate - namely a stuffed owl complete, a stuffed deer head and some mounted and framed butterfliesOriginally posted by Lockhouse View PostMy weekend included walking through Winchester on Sunday with a stuffed antelope's head under my arm. That's something you don't do every day.
I'm thinking about putting them on eBay where they appear to go for circa £200 but was wondering if the animal loonies ever targeted these activities or do they see them as a legacy of Victoriana?
Where did you get yours from?

Nope. Apparently it was stuffed in Liege in Belgium. Great conversation starter though - if you were looking for "company", it's a brilliant ice-breaker. Not had such a good laugh for ages.Originally posted by SimonMac View PostDid you kill and stuff the antelope yourself?

Yes, thanks. Took daughter back to Uni on Sunday. It's quiet around here now!
