Cash in a jar for two years and tips from working in a pub after 1 year!!!! My friends just go and out and buy a car!Originally posted by darmstadt View PostA friend and his wife did just that (the money in the jar) and after a while, 2 years possibly, or little less, they bought a brand new car with the cash (mind you another friend bought a brand new car with just his tips from working in a pub after 1 year.)
What type of proles do you hang around with?? In my position in life I couldn't imagine hanging around with the common people. You should be ashamed.

Still smoking like an old tyre dump but slowly I'll get there. The problem is the weather is too warm as I said I'll stop in winter as its too cold to go outside for a fag then...

Maybe get one of those electronic ciggies just for the pub?
Are you doing the 'put the saved ciggie money in a jar' thing? Save some extra spending money for the hols.

Why are you trying to stop something that you absolutely love ? If you ask me you should smoke more. When you are on your deathbed you can have a smug look on your face that says you enjoyed your life.
Take me for example, I love sex,no way would I ever consider stopping that !

All my grandparents who smoked are dead, and the one that didnt is still alive and wishing she were dead. So isnt it better to enjoy yourself and not have a prolonged miserable existence?
It amazes me the government encourages people to stop, given the vast amount they make on taxing smokers and the fact they cant afford people to have along unproductive retirement.
And no I dont smoke, never have.
But dont let that stop you.
