Was very frosty but fortunately dry. Had the waterproofs on this morning and I have cracked too: the temp of the house had dropped to 9°C and the living room was a no go zone. Only the office was slightly warmer and my fingers were not working, so on went the heating, thermo set to 15°C.Originally posted by BrilloPad View Postgood point - I had to change my route slightly today to avoid a slightly leaking water main.
but I have now cracked - just bought on ebay a waterproof/breathable jacket and waterproof trousers. Both hi-viz.
I now have 2 front lights and 2 rear lights. But the pedestrians still seem to ignore me. It might helped if they glanced somewhere near the way they are moving.
Agree with the pedestrians - stupid schoolie girl yesterday was on the kerb texting and just walked across the road right in front of me. My spider senses were tingling beforehand so I had the brakes covered.
She did apologise but I said stop bloody texting if you are crossing the road...
I reckon when we have electric cars, half the pedestrian population will be wiped out within the week!
