I have an iPad and I would agree it's the right size so much so when I bought my daughter a tablet I made sure it was the 10 inch version as opposed to the 7 inch.

It'll sell but as someone said, at the expense of the bigger iPad.
I personally have an ipad and both a samsung android and an iphone. Mrs has a 7" tab which she prefers to my ipad.
Each to their own I suppose. I won't be getting one as they're (IMVHO) too small to watch stuff on whilst travelling.
