Cant help but feel things would have been better if it had.

Well at least we would not now keep drifting into their unwinnable wars with our eyes closed and our head up their arse.

Does anyone think that this special relationship would become worse under Romney than it is already?

Does it really matter what the Americans think of us - especially any notion of the cringe-worthy "special relationship" ?

Pax Americana is going the same way of Pax Britannica Pax Romana, and Pax Mongolica and mercifully drawing to a close American imperialism.
