I am fine virtually any time except after a meal when I get very dozy almost without exception... a big lunch and I can't work all afternoon.

It is true that its a hard habit to break, once you get into it.
I suspect that a lot of people do it because it's a 'naughty pleasure' rather than a real need.

Working at home for the septics for the past few years I'd be up early and put in a shift then a nap in the afternoon before they came online and work till about midnight.
Now there's not much to do but really hard to break that habit. Dreading the next 9-5 contract.

I get tired about that time, not much work gets done after then usually, I think it might just be the total boredom of the job, brain just can't take any more.
