pub this evening,
cycling tomorrow morning, then off to a local agricultural show
Sunday; off to watch my old rugby club's first league game of the season and yap on with my mates about how 'young players today just don't have the gumption' (actually I won't do that; I hate people who do that).
Refereeing the first League match for the Ulster Rugby season
Got the folks down this weekend - and all next week. Dreading it. They mainly like to sit in front of the telly all day at their age, so hopefully that should do the trick.
Dentist today, was expecting at least a root canal or tooth out. Instead just got the plaque removed and need to go back to get fitted for a dental guard as I apparently have Bruxism. The weather is gorgeous so just about to get ready to go and sit outside of the pub and have a couple of bevvies. As we can't decide where to go this evening to eat and watch the football and Frau D. has to work early tomorrow, will come early (beer in fridge ready)
Relax during the day with a bit of shopping for Sunday dinner (possibilities include Kofta Kebabs) followed by a fun evening at the Watzemussiggnacht held in the quarter of Darmstadt known as the Martinsviertal. This quarter contains the most pubs, bars, cafes, etc. in Darmstadt and this is their carnival weekend (each area has their own carninval all around this period) and this is the highlight where over 30 various establishments will be playing host to live music (over 35 bands will be playing.) Every type is catered for, all free, going on until the early hours of Sunday and no trouble. An extremely enjoyable evening
I had to sit through watching that tosh to appease the missus...did she get to keep the quirky artefacts ? - sort of tuned out a bit (although I do recall the Hotel Inspector having her norks on display)
