True. And yes that was the name of it. I think Ive become a bit more blasé now a car upgrade is about a months invoicing.

Because a £1000 car + £1000 repair still makes the car worth £1000. What will go next? Timing belt, happened to me on my Toyota. That lovely seal that keeps the oil and water apart (cant remember its name), happened on my Rover.

Is this a special version or something? As a quick look on Ebay shows a lot of 2000 plate A4s for around £1000. Old cars are just not economical to fix, I aim to change every 5 years. Though admittedly my last one was 7 years.

Luckily I've found a local chap who'll fit a single mass flywheel conversion kit for quite a bit less.

Depends, if it's for an Aston Martin DBS, then it's not bad. If it's for a Nissan Micra, it's a bit steep
