    I saw 4 Vulcans do a "scramble" at RAF Finningley in 1977 as part of the Silver Jubille Review of the RAF. It was impressive and the ground shook as they took off.

    Excellent. As a kid living in Norfolk I used to see warplanes flying over my house quite a bit at similar heights, including Vulcans.
