My current contract has until December to go, but I interviewed last week at another client, who offered a 9 month contract yesterday. My current client have just asked me to stay to June next year, and offered a bit more money to try to persuade me not to take the new role. I didn't want it anyway, but they don't need to know that.
Am quite pleasantly surprised, and relieved to be able to remain so close to the boys nursery.
