I was in Sweden recently, and the hotels were excellent. The whole society is 100% child friendly, pubs, shops, hotels, all had big play areas with attendants.
The hotel had a cot in it, even though we only bokked a double.
The room had a porthole into the ensuite, which was a bit weird

the FT are reporting today that IKEA are planning to open hotels in the Uk, Netherlands and Poland.. interesting idea seings as they already have all the furniture to go in a hotel along with the food.
It would all have to be replaced every month. IKEA furniture is tulip. I see Travellodge are in some difficulty though.
