It was reported on the local London news.

Well they had no choice as they have to do the travel announcements.

Hopefully the scaremongering has increased publicity of the changes and led to people steering clear.

One might even say that causing a few jams last week on purpose to generate headlines is a very effective way to make the main event a success.

Apparently as most of the lanes are on the off-side of the road so you shouldn't be cycling in them anyway.

If they are on the near side as a cyclist you can use them to avoid fatalities. Though I wouldn't trust the drivers in them.

Bloody Olympics - Can't be over quick enough!
The north and south circulars are suppose to still have grid locked traffic.

I know from the traffic reports the North Circular has been having problems.

Just ride a time trial bike and stick a number on your skin tight vest. If anyone asks what you're doing, wave a flag from an imaginary ex-Soviet country, shout 'lkasdgl asdkj e eksoa t aoodjgflkn!!!!!! TRAINING NOW TRAINING NOW YOU ASK MR PUTIN!'

Though at £20 a ticket they are having a laugh.
And i thought taking a contract in Coventry meant I was avoiding the olympics. Imagine my suprise last week when our work bulletin pointed out the fact that the train station will be handling an extra 20-60,000 people tonight (i hope everyone drives) and a few nights over the next few weeks. Im hoping to squeeeeeeze out between the 2 matches at about 5:15.

If its excrement ill WFH next time.

I would if I lived here but I'd rather get back home, I did try and get mens team GB tickets but I left it too late.
