Nice one, we're you associated with the military or was it purely private aviation?
I was going to go to Blackbushe with Cabair for the DA42 but they went bust earlier this year. Such a shame as I got my twin rating with them in Denham.
Buzzing sheep must have been a blast in the Ikarus C42 - just don't get too high and close with the sun!
I was associated with the military hence the types.
All I can say is I got very lucky and had an understanding boss who gave me a year out of the research program to move to flying duties. I'll always be grateful for that and have some wonderful memories. During the week I got to do some crazy stuff, weekends at Blackbushe building the hours to a PPL on C150's, not quite the same but managed to talk an instructor into letting me do some rather low flying which the guys I worked with were experts at doing. Once I soloed though and got the chance I indulged a bit
Still get that buzz even in a C42 scaring the tulip out of sheep and the occasional fisherman.
PS I'm not a fan of pasta...

Man, I am in actual AWE for your experience in those jets! WOW!
LOL!
All I can say is wow!
Well, I'll post some vids to you but they will be a shadow of what you've experienced!
Nice one Clippy!
