I've seen many drunken attempts at jiving over the years! Usually some daft Uncle spinning a family member around whilst onlookers await the imminent injury!
Was as recent as last weekend that I witnessed such an event!
You're not that short fat ginger bloke with a brown porno moustache who tried to help me up are you?

I learned several ballroom and latin dances as a teenager, including the Jive. Good times but a long time ago. I remember some basic Jive moves but now I'd make the rest up as I went along and fall over, which means I'd need a good partner.
We entered a couiple of team competitions but we were allocated ballroom dances (and my partner was p1ssed).

Does anyone on here know how to jive? I remember going to a wedding reception one time and the newly marries couple did the most impressive jives. It was very entertaining.
Does anyone else have fond memories or otherwise of past jives?
