I used to get the Friday 6pm Euston to Macclesfield quite regularly. First class was £60 advance as opposed to £100 standard advance. I wasn't conplaining. :-)

Bizarrely that is the exact number of beers I've had! And I wasn't even planning to have one when I got on the trainOriginally posted by rsingh View PostHope you had your two beers! You've already paid for them.
Evening advance ticket was only a few pounds more than standard, works out cheaper if you eat and drink

As I was fist person to use the buffet that morning, I handed the bloke a tenner and said 'sorry mate, i've just got a tenner'.
He said, 'That's oK, you'll just have to put the kit-kat back'
