The (long) weekend
Has already started here. Last night in town the Schossgrabenfest started and I could hear it even though I live nearly a mile away. This year the Leningrad Cowboys are the highlight but having seen them when they were good and fun I won't be going as in a couple of hours I'll be off to Berlin where I'll be doing, in no particular order:
Karneval der Kulturen - bit like Notting Hill I suppose but different
The Ramones Museum
DDR Museum
Technik Museum on the Museum Insel
KaDeWe - largest department store in Europe. Will go there for lunch, like Harrods but German
Make my own chocolate at Ritter Sport
Alte Forsterei - the Frau wants to go!
And a lot of other things. Have a good one and don't get sunburnt...Tags: None
