Germany and France were at fault for allowing Greece in. The rules were bent to let them in (along with others). The original plan was for a debt ceiling of 60% of GDP for euro members – this was swept under the carpet.
The Euro was always a failed concept and pushed for political reasons not economic.
I Gordon 'spent all the reserves' Brown declare that all the economies are stuffed because after I removed all the regulation the banks lost all their underpants on the stock casino we are skint. It happened somewhere else and its not my fault...vote liebour!
Please can I have a cushy directorship? No one wants to read my memoirs or listen to me speak.
Brown's statement is akin to a vampire sucking the blood out of somebody, and then telling them they're going to die unless they spend some money on some fresh.
It's official, Gordon Brown says we're Über Doomed.
This linky is from the metro, it's full of adverts so be warned.
The gyst of the article is...
There you have it folks, we're f*cked!
At last somebody has the balls to say the truth and it had to be Gordon Brown. It was a travesty that he was thrown out of office. The best PM we ever had. Unfortunately the US sub prime crisis made him look bad. And what a wonderful summation of what is wrong in the EU. He is the only guy who has the knowledge to tackle this problem and ensure that economy gets back on track for decades to come.
Bring back Labour and Brown. Chuck the austerity addicted coalition out.
Putting aside for the moment Brown's own record:
1. Where is the rest of the world going to get the money from?
2. What incentive is there to pour it into Europe and see exactly the same situation arise once Europe has used it all up?
