It's the Sunday Guardian, isn't it?

I quite liked them both in the eighties when the Tories were in power. They both lost the plot when Labour got in because they couldn't decide who to bash.

Although I stopped bothering with the Observer long before that. The crossword got so easy I could do it as fast as I could write. No challenge at all

Is the Observer left-wing or not? And if so, how left wing?

Someone just asked me and although I used to think it was, I've not read it for so long I don't know any more.

I think its Liberal i.e. it actually doesn't know what it is. If you read it, you will get splinters from the fence sitting that goes on inside....
