Only in your mind, I think you see the word 'social' in "social conscience" and read it as 'socialist'.

Sure, some people will jump on a bandwagon to further their own agenda but I don't see what politics has to do with the underlying issue, unless you claim that capitalism and conscience are opposing views.

Actually, pure capitalism does seem that way quite often

Probably not, so it will have to be extradition instead. But is there a reason Jordan would want him. Any HR needs in Jordan?

We seem able to deport people for internet 'crime' to a country that still has the death penalty, Australia manages to deport its peaodos here, even if they've taken aussie citizenship up, so I think we shoudl either lose him, pop him, or flick the v's up at Strasbourg and feck him off to Jordan where they can remove any of the other body parts he still has, without pain relief, and slowly.

If you dont like it, write to the guardian you soft bellied ****wits.
And what if you're further back the queue for a state sponsored extrajudicial execution?

In parallel to this view is an implicit arrogance in the assumption that Jordan is an uncivilised country. What the selfish lefties are not able to consider is that their views often have adverse effects on others. So it may be fine to allow unfettered immigration for any seemingly poor soul but no consideration is given to the cost of feeding, housing and educating these people. Lefties make no personal sacrifices with their liberal views (you feel sorry for immigrants? - fine put them up in your own house then) the indulgence of which is paid for not by the leftie but the poorer sections of our own society that have to compete for example for places at local schools for their offspring.
