On-demand support wanted for our direct client in Munich to assist within the 'Migration from SAS Version 9.1.3 to SAS Version 9.2' project.
Start: 16-04-2012
Duration: MAX 50 working days over the space of 8 months (until 21-12-2012). Because of the nature of the assignment, our ideal candidate would already be living and working in the Munich area and has the capability to provide this service next to their current assignment.
Rate: 60 euros per hour
About the job:
The concerned environment contains the platforms Mainframe (z/OS), AIX, Linux and WINDOWS, databases in DB2 and SAS and the usage of a wide range of SAS tools - especially DI-Studio, StM, ABM, Enterprise Guide, Web Analytics - as well as in-house developed SAS programs. There might occur a need for (technical) support in some in-depth details during this migration which we would like to request on short term to speed up the migration process. Some travel to other client sites may be required.
Skills you will bring:
Candidates for this service should have the following skills, background and experiences for which the offers will be checked within the selection process:
- In depth experience in the migration from SAS version 9.1 to SAS version 9.2 - In depth knowledge of SAS tools DI Studio, StM, ABM, Enterprise Guide, Management Console etc. in both SAS versions
- In-depth knowledge in executing SAS processes on the platforms z/OS, AIX, Linux and WINDOWS
The candidate should be able to access the 'Technical Support Knowledge Base' the 'Tool Pool' and the 'Common Document Index' of SAS
All necessary communication will have to be done either in German or in English.
