That would depend on whether he wins the ultimate vote or not - if he does then he'd be forever remembered as the man who managed to do what William Wallace failed, and if he fails then at least he'd still have his nice pension and probably strike a better deal for Scotland.

You're right. He's a crafty buggar - even though he bulltulips and lies as much as any other politician nationalists seem to lap up anything he says and accuse Westminster of propaganda when they simply state the bleeding obvious - like pointing out waiting 2.5 years for a referendum is ludicrous. His entire tactic is to create a divide between Scottish and English people which doesn't really exist.
