Correct, they're not the greatest of use and provided very little in the way of assurance

CRB checks to be reduced

BBC News - Parents warned over plans to cut criminal record (CRB) checks

And about time too. Hopefully we will now see red-tape reduction in other areas.

And alot more adults will get involved in child activities.

The Soham murders could have been stopped by other means. And the vast majority of child abusers are known to their victim.
