More likely a population thing. But then the population should be nothing like it is, little wonder the system is full to bursting.

Southerner from the deep south moved up to perth had wondered why he had not made the decision to move north many moons ago. He was reminded of the Britain of the 50's, where neighbours knew you by your first name and look after you in times of need.

It would probably be better if they identified unsecured or secured debt. Student loans should also be separated.

I see credit card / payday loans as more worrying than mortgage / student loans as the risk rate overall is higher.

As someone said in the comments, lets look at other data such as suicide or divorce.

Interesting reading - some of my favourites:

There's one debt we've just mapped, in Oxfordshire, of £1.7m (this will inc. mortgage arrears). We're looking into the story behind this

As of 4pm we've received 1106 calls from people having their debt #lightbulbmoment, with £42,921,529 debt reported bit.ly/debtmap

Mostly calls from Englandshire I see.

Country is utterly doomed. You might bang on about Greece, Portugal, Spain etc - but someone please do tell me how any consumer based economy can recover with this noose round it's neck?

Working...
