Gave up motorcycling after three spills in a short period on ice. I totally lost my confidence going round right hand bends although I was fine round left hand ones. Travelling from London to Brighton via Birmigham and Bristol would have taken a bit too long.

And a second one went over right in front of me just south of London bridge while I was cycling back from my swimming lesson. He was fine - except for being trapped under the motorbike!

I am not going to look at any more bikes today.

    Water leaks

I was cycling along the A20 this morning - water leak froze and took down a motorcyclist 50 metres in front of me. Had to get him and his bike out of the road and call an ambulance. He apparently had only travelled 400m. Mike Collins - I hope your head and ankle recover okay.

I suppose it could have been worse - it could have been me....

Working...
