I got a quote of around £2200 for that kind of spec (Intel i7/16G RAM/256G SSD HD) from pcspecialist..
Haven't made up my mind yet.

The main reason I've gone for the 512GB SSD is because it's the cheapest per GB and I've already outgrown two smaller ones. I'm hoping this one will last me a bit longer.Last edited by doodab; 29 January 2012, 17:21.

M4600 Advanced
128gb mini pci hard drive
320GB regular hard drive (upgradable later)
Third hard drive can be fitted in the optical drive bay
8gb ram @ 1600MHz (upgradable later)
Quad core 2.5GHz Intel i7
15.6" 1900x1080 screen
3 year on site warranty and accidental damage cover - I've used this a few times over the past 4+ years and they never argue about replacements
Built in 3G is available but I'd recommend a 3 mifi over that as you can then connect other devices to it. Plus reception should be better on the mifi
