2 things to do in Stratford
There’s an excellent Indian restaurant in nearby Tiddington – it’s called Aladdins. It’s actually Nepalese, but the food is great. While waiting for your grub, you can amuse yourself by looking at photos of previous clientele - the luvvies who come up to do some RSC theatre (Judi Dench & Richard Griffiths spring to mind). And maybe Dione Dublin will pop his through the door – he lives 5 min away and is a takeaway regular.Originally posted by MrsGoofI'm of to Stratford-upon-avon for a long weekend.
Apart from RSC/Swan theatre and Billy and his birds house, what else is there
Avoid the clubs in Stratford, they’re just punch-up magnets.
Come to think of it, there’s not a lot to do in Stratford, so I’d recommend Aladdins, followed by a return to your hotel and a good viewing of the porn channel in your room. Job's a good'un.

Nearby Henley-in-Arden is a delightfully picturesque village with some nice pubs and a reputation for the locally made ice cream.Originally posted by MrsGoofI'm of to Stratford-upon-avon for a long weekend.

Head down the road to Warwick Castle if you fancy it a bit more Medievel than Elizabethan.

Dress like a Shakespearan character and walk around town, muttering, with a look of angst on your face.
