Everyone knows how these flavours are invented. The guys in the lab mix up a lot of permutations, then sit the testers down, blindfolded.
They are asked what each one tastes like, and whichever gets the most votes, ends up on yer hula hoops

For many years Germany was considered as the low point manufacturer of flavoured crisps with basically only Paprika flavour but over the past few years this has changed. Now there are Salt and Pepper (disgusting,) Cheese and Onion, various different degrees of Paprika (and some are quite spicy and nice and the specials, ah yes the specials. We've had Chinese flavourings, other Asian and African style flavourings and recently there have been Wasabi which are pretty much un-eatable.
