Some dogs are a bit mental, but then that’s why you research the breed first before buying as it gives you an idea of the probability of having a mental one.
As for me, ive owned many dogs in my lifetime, all large breeds.
I currently have two dogs. A RESCUE Rottweiler who was abused by his previous owners and cast out as a stray. He was going to be put down, as because of his breed nobody else would take him.
And a Lab' Pup, 5.5months old from working bloodline – had her since new.
Also have a RESCUE cat (2nd RESCUE cat I’ve owned) who was cast out by previous owners.
I also support the local animal RESCUE charity so know the extent of the problem… which is why i get a bit upset about it.. but anwway, it sounds like your mates dog found a good home which is what matters the most
