I'll bet the majority of Norwegians would get this. They've had enviably fast broadband for years and there's little else to do except knit or surf on those dark winter evenings.

Hopefully, not all viewers in Norway would have been familiar with the meanings - but those who were would not have believed their eyes when confronted by a segment on optical treatment for pensioners on news show Dagsrevyen
