    No, but they've reopened some tin mines in Cornwall now its value has risen to make it economically viable again.

    I wonder if I can buy an ex coal mine on the cheap.

    The oil companies need a high oil price partially US ones as it costs more drill in North America, there are hundreds of small inefficient oil companies. $10 a barrel would bankrupt them
