I live in Tower Hamlets and it makes no difference which set of useless w ankers is in ...

Well, BBC are reporting Labour as having lost Tower Hamlets to No Overall Control, but according to the numbers they still hold it by one.
Labour was 29 now 23
Respect was 1 now 11 (the Gorgeous Georges)
Conservative was 1 now 7
Liberal Democrat was 15 now 4
Others were 5 now 0
Some dodgy maths somewhere.

Respect is said to be a front for the Socialist Workers Party. Is that an improvement, even on Labour?

Tower Hamlets not in yet. George has got to overturn this from the previous election:
Labour 29
Liberal Democrat 15
Conservative 1
Others 5

Galloway... New Labour Snake decapitated
Never one to miss a trick, a tired but jubilant George signed off with a parting blow to the Labour hierarchy.
"The defeat of Labour's leader and deputy leader by a two-year-old party is a sensational result and it cuts the head off the New Labour snake in Tower Hamlets.
"There are some good Labour councilors and we would be ready to talk with them in the aftermath of the election. But the Blairite leadership had to be defeated and we defeated it thoroughly."Tags: None
