started a topic Holiday Let Vs Tenancy

    Holiday Let Vs Tenancy

Very tempted by a house in Hayle.

2 up 2 down late 19C terraced cottage on for £190k.

Letting agency said it could bring in £550-600 pcm. Not very good.

Holiday let co. reckons I could rent it out for £500 pw.

Seems a no brainer but you have to take into account the winter etc. I guess it could be rented out on a 6 month lease for those months.

Anyone here have any experience of weighing these thongs up?
