Extreme here in the Pennines.
Blizzards on the M62 tops, could not see the signs when the average speed cameras started and finished, so traffic was very slow.
M606 down to one lane, no sign of snowplough.
Local roads in Bradford not gritted, cars sliding in the slush.
Thankfully thawing as the day progresses.
Boss lives over the tops - his commute was triple usual time!!

Enjoy tomorrows comparative warmth as there's snow and wind due blowing in over the south and Midlands on Friday. Interestingly, the BBC weathermen don't seem to know what to make of it yet, only a day out. 'Severe frosts' and hail too.Tags: None
