This photo was taken by a relation yesterday, up near Dalmally. Apparently there's a stiff breeze today.

My advice is to all shak up at Clipheads for when you all get snowed in. Then at least when the food supply runs out you can eat each other, you know like in that film where the aeroplane crashed. Alive is it?
Anywho, hourly updates. I want hunger, hypothermia, the whole nine yards. This could be the most rivetting thread following your demises hour by hour.

Wind Awareness Level: Red
Winds will continue to increase during Thursday morning with severe gales developing across many northern and central parts of the UK, and some particularly damaging storm force winds likely to affect parts of Scotland. The risk of disruption is considered highest across central and southern Scotland where there is a significant risk of damage to trees and structures.

There's currently wheelie bins flying around and trees coming down where I am, and the ferries to Rothesay are off, and I'm only a few miles from you.
Are you sure you don't still have your sensors in the wine cellar ???
Had a drive to the village shop, lots of branches strewn across the road but no wheelie bins in transit just yet.

Glasgow
I normally work in London but management thought it would be a great idea to send me to Glasgow in the middle of December to trainin 6 people who work in Edingburgh as Glasgow seemingly had the only available office for me to training in !!
Today they have been advised to not travel to Glasgow so I am sat on my lonesome doing odd bits of work with odd pieces of surfing the internet and shopping trips!
It is pretty bad up here but not end of world is nigh like the newspapers are making out - I drove up on Monday and it was a bit slippy but passable no problem. Wind is meant to get during today.....
