Why do you need the German equivalent when there are in fact plenty of Staples stores here?Originally posted by chef View Post
Are there any market leaders (other than LazyBoy) in the world of home office chairs? or should I just walk into the German equivalent of Staples, sit on a few chairs and pick the comfiest?

Perhaps you need a walking desk.Originally posted by chef View PostI play squash and cycle most places so the exercise isn't the problem, it's definitely the wooden chair that is the issue IMO.

I think any adjustable chair would do; main thing is your back needs to be supported, ie those chairs where the back of the chair moves with your position. Probably though more important is exercise, that's usually the biggest cause. I find if I'm doing regular exercise, out on my bike once or twice a week and swimming etc my back is a lot better.Last edited by BlasterBates; 30 November 2011, 09:41.

@ss warmer aka I need a new chair
Old age is kicking in, the back is finally listening to all those 'elf n safety bods regarding seating position and my current wooden chair (
) is no longer good enough to prevent a sore back after hours of "work" even if it is a nice chair to look at
So, what do those on here have as their main home office chair?

I prefer to invest and get good quality rather than something that "will do".Tags: None
