Are you suggesting that the UK's esteemed chancellor with a Masters in History and a PhD on the Scottish Socialist movement somehow lacks the experience to make daily decisions affecting the UK economy.

Edit: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alan_Greenspan makes an interesting comparison.

I think that is a very valid criticism of New Liar. The lack of business experience of most of them is worrying. What's 'er name with the allegedly dodgy husband was heading charities before politics. Many of them are lawyers - a closed shop monopoly. These are people who have for the most part never run any kind of commercial organisation. And yet they now 'run' the country making decisions that affect us all.

Never had a proper job, etc.

It occurred to me the other day that Tony Blair must be really p1ssed off when he sees how William Hague, whom he thrashed at the general election, has taken time out to become a multi-millionaire in just four years, then returned to the front benches.

IMPO the Labour Govt is populated by a bunch of 1970 poly lecturers and social workers who grew up on CND marches, pro-Commie marches and anti-business claptrap.

They hate, IMPO, the self-employed and would be happy if we all had to work for the State - i.e. kiss their bottoms in order to get work. They fail to understand, IMPO, how important the small business person is to the UK plc but have done everything, IMPO, to make it difficult to run a small business here in the UK... unless you are a cash in hand plumber of some other tradesman.

The lurid details of John Prescott's affair reveal a side of him that most of us had suspected but never seen: the ugly face of a sexual predator.

Prescott is guided by a massive chip on his shoulder instead of anything sensible.

Prescott has fecked up everything and every project that he has been given responsibilty for - transport, the environment, the regional assemblies.

Prescott is immoral, a nuisance, on the make, a poor speaker, and physically repulsive.

However, he owes his lofty position entirely to the fact that he isn't New Labour. Blair can not sack him.

Prescott should be made a lord - far from mocking the man we should be celebrating his endeavours. Prescott Day should be a national holiday.

When a man with a face like a shovel can pork three shaggable women it is a victory for men everywhere. Sure he broke a few rules, but only so he could indulge in hot, raw, sweaty, blubbery sex in public places. Where is the harm in that ?

Actually no. Due to regulations from Brussels, we can no longer use newspaper to wrap chips. Far too dangerous. It's for our own good. Oh yes. Nurse ...

A parliamentary standards watchdog has said it was up to Tony Blair to decide Mr Prescott's political fate. Mr Blair has so far refused to discuss the issue, saying it is "a private matter".
