you work three miles from home. aren't you frightened they will hunt you down and move in or (more, likely) wave you off and change the locks.

I'm toying with saying I'm working in London but in reality staying in a local pub down the road for a week.

I alway try and take christmas off, most contracts i have been on have seen this as the norm cos there is generally nobody about and those few days between are usually un-productive anyway so your saving them money by not sitting in the office twiddling your thumbs
