A gig a few years ago in Edinburgh parking was impossible but the MD's parking spot was always free as he rarely bothered to come up from London. Security guards were primed with my mobile number in case he turned up which never actually happened in the six months I was there. Sorted.

Seriously - do you not have cleaners for that sort of stuff?
My old man's a contract cleaner in an office just like that. The permie cleaning manager insists that disposing of employees' property is his personal responsibility. And he makes them chant at the morning team meeting:

We are tough and we are mean.
Wilmslow's Z shift gets things clean.

The amount of out of date milk cartons I chuck to make room us unbelievable....

This is not the way to become head of the cheesemaking department.

Have you missed every episode of the Wilmslow saga for the last year during which he adopts a superior attitude towards his colleagues as if being permanent is beneath him?

You're not better than them, you are one of them. Stop trying to pretend you're a high roller just because you used to contract a few years ago and park in the damn employee spaces, assuming you're able to win employee of the month, which as you say is unlikely.
He didn't say anything about having a contractor mindset.

You on the other hand, seem to have a massive chip on your shoulder. Stop projecting your inferiority complex on Wilmslow, he's got enough already.

My last permie job had them for the sales people - sponsored by the vendors "The Epson Employee of the Month", "The Canon Employee of the Month" etc.

One of the contractors parked in one one day and got a bollocking from senior management about it.
