On the beach in Gaeta (Italy) in the 1970s, in the middle of a hot august day, heard a screech of brakes and looked up in time to see a mutt narrowly avoid being run over by a car which had braked sharply when it ran into the road.
But then the car behind rear ended the first, and was rear ended by the one behind, and so on until about dozen cars were involved.
A moment later, a dozen flustered drivers all jumped out, slammed their doors almost in unison, and started yelling and gesticulating at each other like something out of the Italian Job.
Sorry
I thought it was quite funny. Should I retire him then?
Could you do a crossover episode where Wilmslow goes on a date and bumps into Gricer and Malc and possibly also involve Pacharan on one of his lawnmower things? I'm sure much hilarity would ensue
M62 East, around J22, where 4 lanes up the mad mile hill merge into three.
Lanes 3 and 4 were closed because of numpties not letting each other in and racing. 4 cars bumped into each other. No major damage, as in nothing overturned, but a few bashed ends.
Rather than move the cars to the hard shoulder they were stood out of their cars having a blinking bunfight. Meanwhile the M62 grinds to a halt.
Not as amusing as the lady I stopped to rescue who was perched in the middle of the crash barrier who burst into tears on my shoulder when a white van man shouted oh, well done love…..
What is the funniest accident you have seen?
I haven't seen it yet.
It'll be when your clapped out focus has a blow-out and you plunge down the embankment of Scammonden Dam into the freezing waters below.
