started a topic I feel good

    I feel good

My contract either runs out at the end of the year or when I've finished the hours left on it so today I worked out that I have 22,2 days left if I work 8 hour days (which is very unlikely and I also only do 4 days a week.) Therefore started updating the CV, re-registered on Jobserve, updated GULP and start replying to some of the 200+ e-mails from agents received the last few months.

Get called into the bosses (I'm not too sure if he's department manager/project manager/team leader/whatever, just that he hired me and I sometimes get him to sign timesheets if he's around) office today to give a technical overview of something I've just completed. After an hour of explaining about 10% of it, it was time for lunch but on the way out got told that I'll be extended for at least another 6 months. Not bad going, already 2 years in the place and that'll be my 4 extension.

The only problem I have is that with such long contracts you start to feel a bit permie like and things start to get boring. But then again as long as the invoice gets paid I'll do it...Now to retract everything from Jobserve, GULP etc. or at least just say part-time to supplement this one (I tend to do 2-3 projects at once.)

Working...
