I believe he has elections coming up soon as well so a bit of Rosbeef bashing is probably quite good for that, especially as he's having to take it up the carper from Merkel.

    Poor sausage..

Just read a blog post about this by Alistair Campbell () which reads:

It came shortly after one of the British journalists covering the summit tweeted how refreshing it was not to have a PM like GB constantly lecturing the other leaders and telling them what to do. Cameron’s irritant factor is rather different. Gordon was full of ideas and solutions. It is why Europe’s leaders have cause to thank him for his leadership in Global Financial Crisis
    These politicians eh?!

After White Wednesday (16th September 1992) at least the UK learnt its lesson. Its a pity that other countries could not have learnt from the UK's mistake.

If Europe wanted to unify anything is should have started with language. Almost everyone speaks English anyway.

And yet whose argument won out... go David

Sarkozy's just peeved that Britain's eurosceptics were right all along about the Euro - and hates being constantly reminded of it.

Either France has to admit defeat and break up the Euro, or it (along with Germany) have to siphon money from their own taxpayers and hand it to the poorer nations.

This always happens with currency unions - its just a question of when.
