If and only "If" Sasguru can sell his place for £1.2 million he's not going to be able to buy 3 of the above, is he?

Now, instead of wasting your time trying to disprove what I've posted, try and prove what Sasguru posted.

In rural areas of Bavaria you can buy a castle for that.

11 Zimmer Burg/Schloss zum Kauf in zwischen Hof und Bayreuth mit ca. 6.646 qm Grundstücksfläche (ScoutId 41154738)

    Or a monastery

20 Zimmer Besondere Immobilie zum Kauf in Schönthal mit ca. 30.000 qm Grundstücksfläche (ScoutId 58228433)

Although you'll need a bit more for the top end of the market.

Mind you, if you take 200,000 euros to Pfalz you could live comfortably in a very nice area (Weinstrasse).

There are some cheap areas in the east, if you don't mind living nextdoor to the new Hitler youth.

Could move to Germany, buy three houses for the price of one, live in one and rent out the other two. That would piss off the ne-er-do-well expats there
