A lot of people in town were dipping into the public ponds and fountains. And not just the kids, and a few had came prepared and were wearing swimming trunks ffs.
Almost the perfect hot day, warm and sunny, but not the kind of sun that feels like it's zapping your skin DNA, and the evening looks set to be nice too (Scotland excepted).
