The problem is that it's got increasingly worse over time. He's been at school for a year and at first it was bad but he could make calls home. Now it's hopeless and never gets a connection.

Getting out of a mobile contract
My son is at school in Worcester. Because he lives away we got him a mobile and a mobile internet thing from 3. Their coverage checker showed that he lives in a suitable area. However it's obvious that this checker is bollocks and his phone and his internet thing get hardly any reception - the few times he can call us, the phone cuts out.
