Need your help. I wants to go camping in Shell Island, Snowdonia sort of way. The missus doesn't like camping and has said she will go if she can stay in a caravan.

She's bloody right. Find a hotel, cheapskate.

Don't think Shell Island is the place for your missus. I spent many summer hols there in a tent and have very happy memories but I went back for a day trip recently and facilities have not changed much !!
People just won't put up with what was normal back then - washing your teeth with a mug of water, digging a hole for the pan, living by torch/parafin light etc !!!
Kids will love it of course...

Soooo, does anyone know the area well enough to recommend a caravan park/ cottage / b&b / hotel?

Or, can anyone recommend a posh tent, that SY02 may like. Her key objections being nipping to the loo in the middle of the night, so some sort of portaloo tent annex could mitigate this.
