PS AFAIK Teheran is safe enough, unless someone can provide evidence to the contrary.
If you went you'd have more to fear from the US.
I was there a few months ago. It’s safe as long as you keep out of politics and be aware of many (millions) dodgy refugees that have been let in the country.

Germany, France, Japan and China are in the country big time and disregard sanctions. Well know companies such as Peugeot-Citron, VW, Fiat, and Siemens have not just assembly plants but also manufacturing and development. There are loads of foreign telecoms companies and it seems that the only countries left out are the UK and USA with the exception of Microsoft and HP. In fact all it seems to be HP and Microsoft based. Iran is exporting their own make of trucks, buses and aircraft. In fact sanctions have been the inspiration for a boost in the home grown technologies.

BTW, I did not drive there but I used taxis driven by women using SAT-Navs.

You are right. Usually it's the train car manufacturing facility that makes tanks (easier to conceal heavy stuff brought in), so this automotive place probably manufactures light APCs.

Teheran is not safe if you are a nuclear scientist...

Hence my question. Has anyone here faced issues after supplying a GEC?

Has anyone here ever worked in a GEC? Therefore selling products and/or services to such a country.

    Any repercussions?

    Just asking like.

    EU sanctions against Iran

The European Union has imposed restrictions on cooperation with Iran in foreign trade, financial services, energy sectors and technologies, and banned the provision of insurance and reinsurance by insurers in member states to Iran and Iranian-owned companies.
