    This is where reality comes in. You didn’t actually own Gold; you bought paper gold. The company you bought it from probably only holds stock of 10% or 20% of the actual Gold for its investors. The rest is just faith. If every investor wanted to cash in his paper gold for real gold; there would not be enough to go around. Remember what the US did to De Gaul when he cashed his in.
