Desires are not diseases. Granted the first can definitely lead to the other as I'm sure many an STD visit would confirm.
All addictions are however diseases and can be cured by either abstinence or indulgence. Given that its you the former is unlikely so I would visit BBC Bristol (and the Holby sets) post haste.
